Galta is located on Jaipur-Agra highway near Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh almost 10 km from Jaipur. This place is mainly known for its temples, pavilions, natural springs and holy ‘kunds’. The other famous temples in this place are Balaji temple and the Temple of Galtaji which is located amidst the low hills. This temple is made of pink stone and has a huge complex. Other than these temples one can also feast their eyes on the remnants of the old-age havelis in the nearby region as they are known for their delicately carved balconies and painted ceilings.
